We haven’t been exposed to fidget spinners the way most people have with kids or those that toil in educational institutions but we can certainly see how they could drive a person crazy. There must be a big sigh of relief from teachers and parents all over Germany. The Frankfurt airport customs department has confiscated more than 35 metric tons of fidget spinners and plans on crushing them into another existence.
You will be surprised that the shipments came from China. German officials have determined that small bits of material could fall off of the fidget spinners and pose a hazard to small children. They were also concerned that there was no instructions and accompanying information from the manufacturer.
